BABIES AND TODDLERS - Seat babies and toddlers in a circle on a mat. Use Bumbos and Boppies to help little ones support their backs and necks. Read age-appropriate, faith-based stories. Babies and toddlers love animated talking, so vary your pitch and volume as you read.

Have older children put on a “play” for babies and toddlers. The younger ones respond well to bright colors and music. Have the big kids dress in vibrant colors on the day that they plan to sing and dance for the little ones. Award prizes to the performers.

TWO- TO FOUR-YEAR-OLDS - Kids love music at this age. Have sing-a-longs to age-appropriate faith-based music.

KINDERGARTNERS AND ELEMENTARY-AGE KIDS - Have children put on a puppet show that demonstrates faith-based lessons. Consider having them put on the show for littler children. Include song and dance to really get kids excited.

Children at this age really enjoy working together in small groups to problem solve, discuss and present. Keep the group activity simple. For example, give groups a moral dilemma to discuss then share the solution at the end.
